On 3rd April, Kinder Hearts brought down our human and doggie team members to Smør at Mapletree Business District!

We shared about the cruel breeding practices in Singapore behind the cute puppy in the pet shop. These puppies come from puppymills, factory-esque places that breed dogs only for profit.

Did you know that.... - Breeding dogs are kept in cages all their lives and have little or not veterinary care? - Puppies are produced from ill-bred parents who are often in poor health. As a result, these puppies have physical or neurological health problems. - Puppies are taken away from their mothers too early and kept in the shop with little to no social interaction, which impacts their social and cognitive development, giving rise to behavioural issues. Our members worked hard to reach out to the working crowd, and were overwhelmed and so HEARTENED😍 by the positive response! Our aim is to put an end to dog abuse in puppymills in Singapore and education is the way to go. Every person counts! We have Smør and everyone who attended to thank for making this event such a success, and we certainly reached a large number of people, changing the way people view puppies in pet shops.
